St. Paul’s has been a leader in outreach within the community, hosting speakers and guests from local churches through 40 years of Lenten Lunches. A number of spiritual conferences were also held and in recent years Alpha courses have been offered with follow-up programs for participants. Over the years various fundraising events have been held. Currently an ongoing Rummage Sale provides an outreach to the community by providing reasonably priced clothing and household items. The church also provides a service in helping people when down-sizing or moving into assisted living. Covid brought changes to our church practices, including broadcasting our Sunday service via radio and later live streaming to our community and beyond. The face of the congregation changed when regular services resumed following Covid with some families not returning with new people joining us who are taking an active part in church life. Our hope for the future is that the Good News of Jesus Christ continues to be proclaimed and lived out in our congregation so that others in the community will be attracted to faith in Jesus Christ and welcomed into the Christian family.
