Parkland Parish is made up of three congregations – All Saints’, St. Andrew’s, and St. Paul’s. For about 120 years, the generations of parishioners have lived up to the Christian call to witness to the promises of the Gospel through the Anglican tradition in the farming communities of Lashburn, Maidstone, Forest Bank, and the surrounding areas. One Gospel promise we have witnessed to is the riches produced in our lands and generously given by the local people, which have served the communities, provided for ministries, supported the Diocese as well as the layers of the higher Anglican structures. With the younger generations leaving the rural communities to seek education and career in cities, our three congregations have aged, and have shrunk dramatically in membership and ministry. Though still alive and able to maintain full-time ministry, our life may end in the near future, and with that the Anglican presence in this vast area.
